Sanction awards in Michigan
The attorneys who prosecuted Donny's Michigan lawsuit have been sanctioned for their conduct of the lawsuit and failure to conduct a good-faith investigation into its merits before filing it. They will pay defendants' attorneys fees and must undergo 12 hours of continuing legal education into pleading standards and election law. And they've been referred to the Michigan Bar Association and to their home state bar organizations for possible suspension or expulsion. --Bob
