The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has vacated Bill Cosby's sexual assault conviction on the grounds that an agreement made with an earlier prosecutor prevented key evidence from being used against him in this case. Under PA law, this decision cannot be appealed, so he will be released from prison, probably later today. Needless to say, his victims and their attorneys are not happy about this development.

The author of the USA Today article wrote:Wearing a white T-shirt from his alma mater, Philadelphia's Central High School, Cosby appeared outside his Cheltenham Township home, escorted by his spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, and his appellate attorney, Jennifer Bonjean.

The author of the USA Today article wrote:Later Wednesday Cosby tweeted thanks to the court, saying he had always maintained his innocence.
"I have never changed my stance nor my story. I have always maintained my innocence. Thank you to all my fans, supporters and friends who stood by me through this ordeal. Special thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for upholding the rule of law," the tweet read.
Hey, rapist! You were not released because anyone thinks you're innocent!
His vision seems to have improved with age. He appears to no longer need a guide because of his blindness.

The State of Pennsylvania has appealed the decision of the PA Supreme Court releasing Bill Cosby to the US Supreme Court. At issue are statements from the former District Attorney that Cosby would not be prosecuted for the crimes for which he would be convicted. The US Supreme Court has not commented on the appeal yet.
