Pitcher for the Minnesota Twins and several other major league teams who was the first Black 20-game winner in the American League, winning 21 games while leading the Twins to the American League pennant that year. Later, he was the starting pitcher for the Montreal Expos in their first ever game. His given name was Jim, but everyone referred to him as Mudcat.
Age 85.
