Losing my mind

I'm starting to feel like Sam Beckett from "Quantum Leap". My brain feels full of holes like Swiss cheese.
Spent an hour and a half last night scouring my house in search of a comic book that I had sold on eBay and needed to ship. It wasn't where I thought I had put it. It wasn't where I thought it might have been moved in the FSIL cleaning. I went through two boxes of comics three times, along with a stack of Priority Mail envelopes with other comics in them. Finally gave up and went to bed sometime after midnight. As I'm drifting off, I think "Am I looking for the right comic book?"
Checked it when I got up this morning. Sure enough, I was looking for one that I had already shipped out. I had looked at the wrong line in my "sold items" listings. The one I wanted was in one of the boxes.
I need to get on 'BAM soon, before all this trivial knowledge goes down the rabbit hole entirely.
