Anybody know anything about

a TAVR procedure?

I mean, I’ve read up on it and know what the doctors and them have said, but I’m wondering if any of y’all Mr. and Miss Know-it-alls (and Docs) have any personal experience or might otherwise have additional insight that I probably don’t know about.

I’m in the hospital with my 93 year old mother and she’s getting pretty close to finishing all the preliminary stuff leading up to the procedure.

Yeah somebody mentioned something to me about the google machine some time back. I was kind of hoping that maybe a couple of your cousins from various places around the world might have been through it, or something like that.

A friend of my granddaughter had a similar procedure on a different valve. All I heard about is that the site in her leg kept bleeding for over a week.

New aortic valve. Check (Day before yesterday)

Teeny pacemaker implanted. Check (Just done about an hour ago)

Today marks 2 weeks in hospital(s). She wouldn’t have made it for long without that valve replacement. Everything went very well with both procedures.

Whew! What a relief.
