The new census figures are out and states that voted Republican in 2020 will fare slightly better once everything is reapportioned. Here are the states with changes, followed by the new totals of Congressional seats (add two to get the electoral votes for each state):
Texas +2 38
Florida +1 28
NC +1 14
Colorado +1 9
Oregon +1 6
Montana +1 2
California -1 52
New York -1 26
PA -1 17
Illinois -1 17
Ohio -1 15
Michigan -1 13
WV -1 2
If these numbers had been in effect in 2020, Biden would have received 303 electoral votes instead of 306.

Re: Texas to Gain Two Seats Under New Census
New York missed holding onto the Congressional seat (and electoral vote) that it will lose by 89 people. (If New York had held the seat, Minnesota would have lost one.) --Bob
