Soap and stage actor has died after a recent hospital stay. He was the 76.

He was best known for playing in General Hospital in the late 1980s. He also played several characters in the last two years of Dark Shadows.

I just noticed the details on this one. Pennock is the second Dark Shadows cast member to die this year. Diana Millay, who played Roger Collins' ex-wife Laura, died last month. Millay's storyline line ran for several months before the addition of the vampire Barnabas Collins to the cast (which caused the series to skyrocket in popularity). However, Millay was notable because she played the first supernatural character on the show (and on daytime television). Millay retired from acting after the series.
