HOF Argument for Peyton Manning

#1 Post by Appa23 » Thu Jan 21, 2021 11:54 am

"I’ll just say: ‘Peyton Manning.’ I would drop my laptop but I’m not going to do that, so just pretend that you see me dropping the mic. End of discussion.” :D

This is what the Indy Colts beat reporter said.

I imagine that Brady's will be even shorter: "Six rings. Most yards. Most TDs." (Impressive until Patrick Freakin' Mahomes hangs them up. ;) )

I've always said that P Manning was the greatest regular season QB in NFL history. Brady is/will be the greatest postseason QB in NFL history (by a wide margin).

No HoF argument needed for either one.

Except when he played Eli Manning.

You forgot Nick Foles.

AND, while I still have the opportunity to dream up a perfect scenario, I would be pretty durn happy to see Josh Allen's name added to those of Eli and Nick. 8)

Oh, I am well aware, believe me. Not only do the Chiefs present a rather formidable obstacle to this dream, Aaron and the Packers might have a thing or two to say about it.

Hence my opening sentence starting with "while I still have the opportunity..."
