#1 Post by Bob78164 » Thu Jan 21, 2021 2:11 am

As of today, I can access the funds in my retirement accounts without paying penalties.

What did you think I was talking about? --Bob

May I assume this is the first time in your life you've celebrated a half-birthday?

Well, no. I'll still have to pay taxes on the money when I withdraw it so I'm in no hurry. And I'm still working so I don't need it for the income. --Bob

You may -- it's a free country -- but the assumption would be incorrect. At Caltech, we celebrated half-birthdays for people with birthdays that fell during summer break. --Bob
