Libby doesn't seem to be fazed. Although, there were only a few about 9 p.m. I hope there won't be any at midnight.

In our neighborhood, the fireworks are mixed with a healthy dose of celebratory gunfire every year. Right at midnight it wasn't too bad, but it picked up about ten minutes later. Needless to say, Mrs. SSS and I were not outside to observe.

For the past few years, many people have posted videos of fireworks taken by drones flying with them.

I saw something new (to me) in Saturday's (re-run) episode of "Did I Mention Invention?"

Here's a sample:
