Youngest and last surviving member of the McGuire Sisters, who were popular in the 1950s and 60s. Phyllis had a longstanding relationship with mob boss Sam Giancana, which many people claim was the cause of the group's breakup in 1968. Although Phyllis claimed at the time that their relationship was strictly platonic, she was subpoenaed to testify several times before various investigative committees. With Phyllis as lead singer, the group had several hit songs, including "Sincerely" and "Summertime."
Age 89.
