When my middle son was 2-3 years old, he was prone to throwing temper tantrums whenever he was upset or if things weren't going his way. In our house, there is a 4-way 'intersection' going into our kitchen - this was his spot to throw himself down on the floor - hitting and kicking the carpet while screaming his lungs out. Even at 3 years old, he knew that everyone else in the house must pass through this area and of course, could not help but notice him. We learned to step over him and go on about life.

I wonder where the high traffic areas of the White House are? Rose garden?
