You be the judge, should I apply for Famous Names Week on Millionaire?

(when I sing for you, you will feel like you're at a Horror Movie)!

Um, maybe not. But then again, you might be one of the few people applying who can pass the qualifying test.

(Please, God, may they still require contestants with famous names to pass the same qualifying test given to everybody else.)

Not that guy, but how about Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams?

Maybe if you destroy tapes of your previous appearance, you can fool them. :)

Editing to say how much I loved your shows when I was in SF. :)

Famous Names Week

Rule 1. If your famous name would get less that 20% on an ATA, you are not going to the on the show that week

Rule 2. If your famous name would qualify the answer to a question worth $50K or more, you ain't gonna be on the show that week.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
