Not likely a name familiar to you unless you were an early 70's headbanger...he was the keyboard player and chief songwriter for the band Uriah Heep. His death leaves guitarist Mick Box as the only surviving member of the classic lineup from the group's most successful period..drummer Lee Kerslake died about a month and a half ago, while bassist Gary Thain and vocalist David Byron have been gone for some time now.

Box still leads a version of Heep.
