The California Christmas/Thanksgiving gathering guidelines seem a little draconian.

So, unrelated groups of 3 households each can be in a public park, but coordinated groups of 3 households each can't be in a park-even if they don't mix.

I am sure that there is some super-duper science behind that one.

The funniest part of this (actually the most frightening) is that we had government bureaucrats actually discussing if people should be allowed to go inside and use the bathroom-to the level that they thought it important to list it.

I wouldn't trade California's handling of the pandemic for that of pretty much any other state. So now you've got a problem with our government trying to tell families how to stay reasonably safe at Thanksgiving? You think they should just leave people to figure it out for themselves?

And by the way, for those who don't know, both Sirge and Lady G are (last I checked) awaiting the results of their tests. Both are symptomatic. --Bob

As the saying goes-"You are living your best life right now." You get to justify the government telling the proles how to gather for the holidays even to the extent of allowing them to go inside and use the bathroom.

I'll let our results continue to speak for themselves. And if you don't like our successful methods for protecting ourselves and each other, then you can go fuck yourself.

And by the way, you're acting as though the California Highway Patrol is standing ready to do a house-to-house search to find scofflaws. Which, of course, is nonsense. The state is trying to give families, most of whom want to be safe and responsible, guidance about how to hold a Thanksgiving celebration as safely as possible.

And the fact that people like you, who have a problem with that, have pretty much taken control of the Republican Party is exactly why people like former Republican Max Boot thinks the Republican Party needs to be electorally burned to the ground. It's why that's pretty much already happened here in California. --Bob
