I wonder how you would feel if one of your relatives winds up in the hospital with the coronavirus.
It's been shown that private indoor parties in poorly ventilated areas where people aren't wearing masks are one of the leading factors in the current spread of the disease. The police can't police how many people are in a gathering by staring at it from across the street after they receive a complaint.
It's also ironic that you come out in support of Jewish religious rights when your candidate Donald Trump is one of the biggest supporters of blatantly anti-Semitic hate groups like the Proud Boys.

The nuptials and reception took place in rural Millinocket on August 7. A state health inspector found that the 62 guests mingled, danced, and dined for hours. They had their temperatures checked, but few wore masks or practiced physical distancing. As of September 17, health authorities had identified more than 170 cases connected to that wedding. Eight people have now died. None of them attended the wedding. They apparently contracted the virus from someone who did.
A birthday party is likely to blame for the COVID-19 cases at Timber Creek High School, resulting in it switching to online learning for two weeks, health officials said Wednesday. The sweet 16 celebration was brought up by health leaders at Orange County’s press briefing. At least 15 of the students at the party have tested positive, which is half of those who attended.
A “sweet 16” celebration in Long Island, NY turned sour after many on the guest list were infected with COVID-19 and hundreds were forced to quarantine, according to the Suffolk County Department of Health Services. All 81 invitees to the Sept. 25 party were forced to quarantine and were added to the county’s contact tracing system, health officials said. As of Oct. 13, 29 people who attended the party tested positive for coronavirus and another eight contracted the virus through household contact and a close friend of someone who attended the event, Fox 32 Chicago reported.
We didn't get to 80,000 new cases a day by magic. And as long as we have a President who says we're turning the corner, this is going to continue.

I sure as hell am. I like knowing that I can go to the store with relatively low risk of catching COVID because some idiot couldn't resist hosting a houseful of people and one of them ended up spreading the disease to one of the other shoppers. --Bob

Tell me again how you know all the shoppers' and employees' test results as you wander the aisles.

I don't, of course. But I know they're living in a state where we take safety precautions seriously (including precautions you seem to want to mock), so it's significantly less likely that I'll become the victim of community transmission. (When you recall that California's population is approximately 40 million people, the numbers in this link are pretty good.) Life doesn't offer guarantees, but that's no reason not to ameliorate your risk when you can.
You'll be taking a gamble on Thanksgiving that I wouldn't take, nor would I want to be around someone who took that gamble within the prior 10-14 days. I hope you get away with it. --Bob

So you completely isolate yourself? Because unless you do you cannot guarantee that those you meet anywhere are disease free. You cannot. As I said I wear masks, etc, My family takes precautions as well.
Unless you're bubbleboy you're always at risk.

Again, I'm not willing to let the perfect be the enemy of the good. I don't completely isolate myself, but I sure as hell don't spend extended time indoors in close proximity to lots of other people. When I do have a worker in my apartment, I open the windows first and wear my mask, and (if necessary) I'd insist that they wear theirs. (Haven't needed to do that so far.) I haven't eaten an indoor restaurant meal since March, and I doubt that I will until I've taken a vaccine that I trust.
If the weather is warm, I hope you'd at least consider holding Thanksgiving in your backyard instead of indoors. It will significantly reduce your risk. --Bob

Well, I've babysat and viirtual kindergartened (for 2 1/2 months) for 5+ years with grandbabes who attend daycare and obviously from a diff household. We had peeps over to watch OU two weeks ago.
Just wanted you to be able to "mock" me and dance on my grave should I die from covid.

Please don't say that, even in jest. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, much less you or your family. --Bob
