Looks like I f**ked up the political system

You know how I've had a knack the past few years for rejecting candidates from both parties and writing in my own nominations for personal friends and for fictional characters like Mickey Mouse, Black Panther, and Chesterfield Snapdragon McFisticuffs (among others)?
Sadly, those days have ended.
I went in this morning to cast my early vote in this year's election. Displayed prominently on the check-in table was a placard that read, "Write-in votes are permitted only for announced candidates. If you write in any other candidate, your vote WILL NOT be counted."
So I guess our local government finally got sick and tired of me mocking the political process.
I was never going to write in a candidate for president, anyway. My intention was always to vote for Joe Biden. I'm not a retard.
