Rainbow Bridge-Dot

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Mon Sep 28, 2020 7:47 am

The Doots has gone to play with everyone over there. She had been on heart meds for months and probably had a heart atttack. Jeff let her out at 3am to poop which she does/did rather than in house.
I got up at 6:15 and she wasn't lying in the bathroom per usual. Heard her do a dream whimper, saw her in the living room lying sort of weirdly. Got dressed thinking she's just tired. When I went back there was a huge thunderclap from storm and I looked and looked to see if she was breathing.
She wasn't.

So we took her to the vet and said goodbye. Kept giving her belly rubs.

She was the best puppy. Woulda been 11 in October.
Well, then

It's been pretty sucky for us two footers too.

My heart hurts for you, dear Beebs.

I've enjoyed reading of her antics over the years. I have no doubt she'll be a big hit with the denizens on the other side of the bridge.

I am so very, very, very sorry to hear this. I did have a thought that cheered me up a bit, though. I am sure that the late canine B.B. King became the happiest dog in Heaven when he saw his buddy Dot come trotting across that bridge. Their reunion must be epic!
