Fortunately it didn't appear to have an impact but I was surprised by the use of the ATA at 16K although if you don't know you don't know. Then again if 95% DO know then perhaps the cast member should too...

Didn't know the first 50K either and doubt the ATA would help much at this level. But at least I would have still had it...

Also guessed right at the second 50K but would likely have burned a lifeline or two here as well to try to be sure.

Fortunately the 100K Q proved to be a gimmie, having eaten dinner on the bank of the Mekong in both Vientiane and Phnom Penh in 2003, so I would at least get a look at the 250K Q!

$25K: I know for sure that it's not C or D... but let's ask the audience.

$50K: I can immediately eliminate Iron Man, but that's all. Immediate PAF usage.

$50K #2: I never would've seen this question, but had it between Buddy Guy and Isaac Hayes. Probably would've guessed Buddy.

$100K: Woohoo! Wheelhouse! (IIRC, it flows through Vientiane, Laos, and Phnom Penh, Cambodia)

I'll be looking at the $250K question with the STQ and 50:50 at hand.

"Was" is right - if this show was taped last year, she may have given birth by now.

I've never heard this "nickname", but it's a no-brainer.

Once you convert 2001 to MMI there's no doubt as to the answer.

She doesn't drink - but does her husband? Or was he googling (I noticed that Stephanie said, "Collins, with two l's").

Time to ATA for me.

STQ right away as she has no idea
Luke Cage was paired with an Asian superhero known as "Iron Fist" - the comic book was called "Power Man and Iron Fist". Luke Cage was also known as "Hero for Hire" because ostensibly he was a "private eye" and only worked cases for money. Supposedly there's a movie in development. FWIW Luke Cage was also one of the first African-American superheroes to have his own comic book. (Yeah, I know, TMI  )

I wouldn't have seen this one, which is just as well because I'd have had to burn a lifeline.

Definitely not Tigris, which flows only through Iraq, and definitely not the Amazon, which flows through Brazil (and not through its capital). The Ganges flows through India and Bangladesh but Dhaka isn't on the Ganges, so that leaves only the Mekong.

I'd be going for $250K with 50/50, PAF and STQ still remaining.

Here's another article on Stephanie's appearance:

http://www.palestineherald.com/opinion/ ... 21930.html
Palestine native and current Lakeland, Fla. resident Stephanie Arnold Rollins recently took home $50,000 after participating on the popular television game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”
Three months ago is "recently"?

Well, it depends on how long ago she moved from Palestine, TX to Lakeland, FL - if it has been quite some time the folks who run the Palestine paper may not have known about her appearence until just recently - this might be the answer for the 3 month delay - do you know if the Lakeland FL already covered the story?

---Jay (If you know the ultimate answer to the ultimate question (and no fair peeking at my handle for a clue) - you also know the number of days until my episode is scheduled to air)

Yes, I've got a link to that story a couple posts higher in this thread.
