Last weekend, our beloved Rosie lost her battle with cancer and had to be put down. She was a rescue dog from Arkansas and she touched our lives like no other animal ever has.

She was a very good girl.

Sorry to hear that Vandal. At least Rosie will have a lot of great company up there.

We just sent Miss Mary to the bridge this morning. 17 1/2 years old, this kitty lived half her life with my folks, and half with us. She liked it much better with us, as she was then an Only Cat.

I was able to sit with her as it happened; she came home from the hospital a week ago with diabetic ketoacidosis. She turned her head and refused to eat, and that was that. So then she just slowed down. Couldn't have been more peaceful.

Glad all our pets are together.

Awww..hugs to you, Skoop. 17 1/2 years of being loved is a damn good deal for a furry friend. I'm sure she'd take that deal any time.
