OK, sure, no one really knows what goes on inside a family. And, call me a cynic, but I have long suspected that at some point the whole George and Kellyanne thing is shtick, and they fashion themselves the new James Carville and Mary Matalin of this generation--a lucrative future on cable awaits. Too much of what has happened has been too cute by half--and unless he is a total ignoramus (that's a freebie) there is no reason why we needed George's voice out there thrashing Trump to the alleged ed misery of his wife.
That said, I'm sickened by the entitlement of a 15-year-old daughter who demands to be "emancipated" from a life of wealth, privilege and advantage. Really? Who paid for the phone you nuked your parents with? The clothes? The nice house? The education coming your way? You life isn't fair--sorry, I didn't realize you were born in Katwe.
Thankfully, when Buffettina brought this up yesterday, her remark (referring to the kid) was: "Is she kidding--does she get how many kids would kill for her life?"
With rare exceptions, no one deserves to be humiliated by their kids like this. Good luck to both of them.
