Too Perfect Really

#1 Post by Spock » Mon Aug 24, 2020 5:13 pm

When you get rid of "Broken Windows Policing" you soon run out of glass to fix the broken windows.

A symptom of the rapid decline of NYC.

So many windows are being broken on the subways that the MTA is facing a glass shortage.

But, I am sure suburbanites are all on board with this and will continue to feel safe riding the trains.

I'm sure that the fact that subway trains were running at considerably lower than normal capacity during the pandemic so there were fewer witnesses to potential vandalism had nothing to do with this.

Good idea to decriminalize turnstile jumping too because we want to make it absolutely clear that minor crimes will not be punished.
