Ben Cross, actor, has died today at age 72. Besides his role in Chariots of Fire, he is know for reprising two cult icons from 1960s TV: Barnabas Collins (in the 1991 revival of the Dark Shadows series) and Sarek, Mr. Spock's father, in the rebooted J J Abrams movie version of Star Trek.
