British rock singer from the 1960s best known for the hit, The Game of Love, with his group The Mindbenders. After he left the group rather abruptly in 1965, he had little success as a solo artist, while they had another best seller, Groovy Kind of Love.

One of The Mindbenders was Eric Stewart, future member of 10cc. He is the lead singer on Groovy Kind of Love. Another future 10cc'er, Graham Gouldman, was a Mindbender in their last few months of their existence.
