One of the Pointer Sisters. Was around for their first couple of hits, but left for a solo career before her sisters had their biggest successes like "I'm So Excited" and "Neutron Dance". She did have a decent sized solo hit, "Heaven Must Have Sent You", which peaked at #11 in 1979.
Youngest sister June died in 2006. Ruth and Anita survive.
