Star running back at Tennessee in the 1950s who later became a highly successful coach at both Pitt and Tennessee. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame as both player and coach. Not a good week for famed college football coaches.
Age 85.

It'll be interesting to see how the University of Tennessee handles this in the upcoming season since the guy who stabbed him in the back, Phil Fulmer, is the AD there now.
