Just a couple of weeks ago=our wonderful Minnesota Governor Walz limited church reopenings to 25% capacity and his officials expressed concern that singing would spread the disease.

>>>"Malcolm noted that singing can produce more spread of the virus. She said churches should be careful about how they use music in services.
“With respect to singing, strong recommendations that there not be congregate singing,” she said. “That if there is a singer we strongly encourage the use of recorded music only. If there is a singer we recommend it be a single singer separated by quite a distance from other people wearing a mask or behind some sort of a shield.”<<<
So a few people quietly singing in church can spread the disease, but thousands of yelling protesters doesn't spread it? All we have heard from the TPTB here is that the legitimate protesters need to be able to express their concerns.

Re: Covid is the Strangest Disease Ever
That's just one of the many sad things about all these protests. Although many of them are wearing masks (I suspect not all for health reasons), they threaten to undo much of the good that's happened in places like New York over the last two months.

I have a lot more sympathy for people who are tired of waiting peacefully for their turn to die with a cop's knee on their necks than I have for people who think the government is acting tyranically by asking them to wear masks in the middle of a public health crisis.Spock wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 6:43 pmJust a couple of weeks ago=our wonderful Minnesota Governor Walz limited church reopenings to 25% capacity and his officials expressed concern that singing would spread the disease.

Now if you want to see real tyranny, note precisely who ordered tear gas fired on a peaceful protest in Washington, D.C., so that he could have a photo opportunity. --Bob

Governors prohibiting mass church services for public health concern = Attack on organized religion (and/or Christianity)
Police tear gassing priests and forcibly clearing out a church for a presidential photo op = Maintaining law and order
