WWTBAM Bored

With schools and universities around the country having a short year due to Drumpf's failed Coronavirus response, it should come as no surprise that Javon has spent time holed up in his dorm with his girlfriend and roommates. A lot of time. Alone. Especially alone with his girlfriend. That lead to the subject of his phone call to me a few minutes ago: Kyra is pregnant. How's that for a 40th birthday present? (Actually, Javon got the news on Tuesday, but he conveniently waited until today to tell me.) And here, I thought the highlight of my day would be my 7 Wonders card game present.

Seems odd to take a shot at the President’s “failed Corona virus response” in a post that notes that your son completely ignored the social distancing rules, presumably endangering many others.

Also confused by the reference to dorms, as I have not heard of any college allowing students to remain on campus other than international students.

Meanwhile, taking advantage of Covid-19 time made available by shows being cancelled, my son decided to finish his draft of a play loosely based about my mom and family. Started as assignment for scriptwriting class.

There are many students in the UArizona dorms as they have no other place to go. If you're in a dorm, you will be interacting with others there. Think of it as a big family.

I've got a hunch that in another 7-8 months, we'll be seeing a lot of little bundles of joy around the world.
