Words I Never Thought I Would Say

If I thought for a second that Mitch McConnell and the Republicans were sincere in this display of outrage, I might agree with you. But coming from a man and others like him who continually and repeatedly excuse or ignore the venom that comes from Trump and others in their own caucus, it's the height of hypocrisy. As Republicans do, they are always looking for any comment or incident they can turn into a national outrage about the Democrats. Anyone remember this little picture the McConnell campaign put out last year featuring his Senate opponent Amy McGrath?kroxquo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 6:36 amI agree with Mitch McConnell

I would love to see how bold/rude/assholey you are towards Flock the day you run cross paths in Atlanta.silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 1:27 pmhttps://twitter.com/RepKenBuck/status/1 ... 09/video/1Congressman Ken Buck (R-CO) wrote:I have just one message for Joe Biden and Beto O’Rourke, if you want to take everyone’s AR-15s, why don’t you swing by my office in Washington, D.C. and start with this one? For those who don't want to follow the twitter link, the tweet is accompanied by a 20-second video during which Buck takes an AR-15 off the wall in his office and brandishes it as he finishes his little message. And this happened today, after all the Republicans were crying their crocodile tears about mean old Chuck Schumer.
Hypocrisy = Republicans
Acute denial = Flock
I'm not sure I could tell who he is. There's plenty of MAGA-hat wearing Trumpies running around here.silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 5:07 pmI would love to see how bold/rude/assholey you are towards Flock the day you run cross paths in Atlanta.
You seem to forget that he might have seen you on TV or on YouTube. You will have no chance to run away if he recognizes you.silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 5:07 pmI'm not sure I could tell who he is. There's plenty of MAGA-hat wearing Trumpies running around here.
Sen. John Cornyn 2016 wrote:I think [any judge President Obama names to replace Justice Scalia] will bear some resemblance to a piñata. What I don't understand is how someone who actually wants to be confirmed to the Supreme Court would actually allow themselves to be used by the administration in a political fight that's going to last from now until the end of the year. Because there is no guarantee, certainly, after that time they're going to look as good as they did going in.

This isn't whataboutism; this is blatant hypocrisy by Cornyn and Mitch McConnell (in my earlier post), both doing the exact same thing (in Cornyn's case, making "threats" against judges) that they got on Schumer's case about. They aren't the slightest bit upset by what Schumer did. I't's all a chance to grandstand and have nitwits like you pick up on it. They are about as sincere as the wrestling commentators who get upset at the heels' antics.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 8:44 amWhat was the thing about whataboutism a while back?silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 11:23 pmSen. I'd bet money that flock is not very physically imposing. Just a hunch based on reading enough of his posts here. I'd bet that he's actually pretty wimpy.Estonut wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 8:58 pmYou seem to forget that he might have seen you on TV or on YouTube. 'course, I could be wrong. I seriously doubt it though.
I mean, he's already admitted that he has a small wookus.
