I Put Krox, SSS and Bob in the same category

Krox earned his way onto this list with the inclusion of the "Sustainable Energy" bullet point on his smarmy little list, that apparently wasn't even his original thoughts-just copied from someone else.

They are people who know nothing of nature (and could care less) but presume to tell everybody else how to save the world. They are ignorant of the natural world, but worse, they are arrogant in their lack of knowledge.

It must be nice to presume that people who disagree with you are ignorant, rather than confronting the fact that they are, in fact, knowledgeable and have simply reached different conclusions than you would prefer. It's certainly much easier than thinking and confronting the reasons for their different conclusions. --Bob

Flock:

You demonstrate your ignorance every time you spout out Breitbart nonsense that's been reduced to an elementary school level that you can understand.

SSS, I told you before. I never go to breitbart. And even if I did, so the fuck what? When will you stop? Talk about demonstrating ignorance.

Apparently? He disclosed that in his third sentence. He was not attempting to Juch in any way...

You did tell me where you got your information. From some guy on the internet. And he probably got it from Breitbart or someplace similar. And you pass it on. That's demonstrating ignorance.

This dismissive, condescending post is beneath you, Spock. I expect better from you, unlike the Bobs and flocks and SSSs of the world.

Please explain this point for us all. You've been at it for years. It never changes. What exactly do you think you are trying to prove? Shit or get off the pot.

I'm not trying to prove everything. You do a great job of proving you're in the tank for Trump every time you make an inane comment. And once you slipped up and admitted that you get your information from some guy on the internet who undoubtedly go his information from the right wing sources you parrot so religiously. You're just getting it second hand and you don't question it because it confirms what you already believe.

I believed what I believed way before trump. Way before breitbart. Way before hannity. Why is "in the tank for trump" even a thing? You use it like " I know you are, but what am I? " It is not a debating point. I suppose in your echo chamber it is somehow a terrible insult to throw at somebody.
Trump was near the bottom of my choices of the candidates in 2016. I thought of him much like your he is still portrayed in the msm. A buffoon, childish and narcissistic.
But I have grown to respect him. He is doing pretty much what he ran on. And he actually fights back against the left's bullshit. I wish he'd do it in a more mature, intellectual way, but at least he says it like it is. He doesn't speak in PC terms.
You may think I'm all in for trump, but I'm more accurately sick to death of the dem party and the left.

Your statement prompted me to do some research on the topic. This is what I found.

The Union of Concerned Scientists stated that while "renewable sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, and hydropower also have environmental impacts, some of which are significant," they also stated that "Fossil fuels—coal, oil, and natural gas—do substantially more harm than renewable energy sources by most measures, including air and water pollution, damage to public health, wildlife and habitat loss, water use, land use, and global warming emissions."

https://www.ucsusa.org/resources/enviro ... chnologies

The EPA stated "Producing and using electricity more efficiently reduces both the amount of fuel needed to generate electricity and the amount of greenhouse gases and other air pollution emitted as a result. Electricity from renewable resources such as solar, geothermal, and wind generally does not contribute to climate change or local air pollution since no fuels are combusted."

https://www.epa.gov/energy/learn-about- ... nvironment

The Conversation concluded that "Our study emphatically confirms that fossil fuels – mainly coal – place a heavy burden on the environment and that most renewable power projects have lower pollution-related impacts on ecosystems and human health."

http://theconversation.com/does-green-e ... osts-52484

The Committee on U.S.-China Cooperation on Electricity from Renewable Resources stated "In comparison to fossil fuels, renewable sources of electricity such as solar, wind, and geothermal can offer substantial environmental benefits, especially with regard to GHG emissions. When life cycle emissions are considered, all forms of renewable electricity production are expected to have significantly lower GHG emissions per unit of electricity produced than generation from conventional coal and natural gas plants. With the exception of emissions of NOx and carbonaceous materials from biomass combustion, rates of life cycle emissions of conventional air pollutants from renewable electricity generation are also sharply lower than from coal and natural gas plants."

This an admittedly cursory look, and these quotes are from much longer works. I would welcome counter-arguments and evidence and would read them if they are not accompanied by insults. I always welcome civil discourse.

Thanks for the research to show what most people who believe in science already know. I would like to know the source of Spock's expertise, other than spending decades on the farm in close proximity to large amounts of naturally produced, bio-degradable fuel sources.

This 'believe in science' is a batphone response when you have no answers.

I'd like to get answers to the following questions from our bored lefties that Ted Cruz asked AOC after she attacked Mike Pence with the 'science' barometer.

1. What exactly is a 'Y' chromosome?
2. At what age of gestation does science tell us that an unborn child feels physical pain?
3. Of the 195 countries on planet Earth, which country produced the greatest total reduction in CO2 emissions in 2019?

On the left, science is only good if you can apply it to your political goals. Otherwise, it's out the window.

She gave no answers to the questions, just recited her educational 'credentials' and responded with an ad-hominem attack on Cruz. JUST LIKE THE LEFTIST ON THIS BORED DO!
And of course the leftist media ignored the fact that she did not answer the questions and 'took down' Cruz with her non response.
