I bought stamps tonight. Forever stamps are still on sale until tomorrow.
I got some last week, while I was paying $2.13 to mail the paperback copy of The Two Towers I bought for $1 to MarleysNephew. I seem to recall that book rate used to be a better bargain than that.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I bought stamps tonight. Forever stamps are still on sale until tomorrow.
Compared to first class rate, it probably still is. Compared to parcel post for a single paperback, probably not, or not as much.MarleysGh0st wrote:I got some last week, while I was paying $2.13 to mail the paperback copy of The Two Towers I bought for $1 to MarleysNephew. Anyone with half a brain knew what you meant.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:Duh! I should have said that they will be on sale at the lower price of $.41 until today.
When I started selling videos online, media mail (which is the technical term for book rate) was $1.30 per pound. It went up to $2.13 (the biggest jump of that, about 40 cents was in the last postal hike). I'm not sure what it's going to be this time around.MarleysGh0st wrote:I got some last week, while I was paying $2.13 to mail the paperback copy of The Two Towers I bought for $1 to MarleysNephew.
