J! test

I brain-froze on perhaps 5 Qs, 3 of which I got right after. I put a bad letter in an answer & couldn't fix in time. I had one where last letter probably didn't get in. And about 5 were "just didn't know".
But I feel strangely good about it all. It was not a hard test.

I got between 42 and 44, depending on whether they accept just Dodgers instead of LA Dodgers and whether I spelled the name Macron (I think so) or Marcon.

Yes, I think that was about the easiest J test I ever took!
49!!!
Thought it was Taylor Swift instead of Ariana Grande.
4 misspellings (Haaj, Bolyen, McBeth, and Dogers), plus probably ran out of time fixing a typo on Eulogize.
Pittsburgh is an audition city! Maybe I shall avenge my brothers after all
Gotta brush up on my bowtie-tying skills, but I'll skip growing a beard, thank you!

H-Bomb says he got 46 out of 50 right even though he didn't actually take the test because he's already in the pool.

Hope that tonight's test is good for me. Was all set for last night but discovered that I'd misinterpreted my account info on their website and had not, in fact, registered yet. Oops.
Here's hoping for no brain farts and (very) limited recent pop culture.

I believe my score was 44. I had no idea who did the "Thank U Again" album, brain froze on the writer of the "50 Shades" series (I remembered "E.L." but knew it wasn't Doctorow), called the wrong coin flip on Byron/Tennyson, couldn't come up with "Rebecca", and picked the wrong wife for Henry VIII. My sixth miss (maybe) was the physicist who co-wrote the book.

Okay, it tells me I'm registered, but not for which date or what time? What am I missing?

You select the day you want by signing in on the Jeopardy website one hour or less before test time. The remaining days/times are 9:00 ET tonight and 11:00 ET tomorrow night. Once you sign in, you should get a popup screen telling you how much time remaining before the test starts.

Ah - got it, thanks.

After last night's fiasco (I misinterpreted the info on my J! account and didn't actually register for the test), I got the registration right and took Wednesday's test. I'm still woeful on recent pop culture, but still good on subjects from the 20th century. They really do need to reinstate the Seniors tournament. If nothing else, it would teach you whippersnappers some history.
Pretty sure I did my normal "hanging on the edge" result -- 35 +/- 3. I'll check tomorrow to see which side of passing I'm on. Hopes are high, commitment is low. If I don't get it, I don't. C'est la vie.
