Here's another Tuesday Wordplay game for you all. I'm not going to give another explanation about how TW works... you've all played many of these games before at some time or another.

1 point for the title, 1 point for the artist...

1. Another fella told me
He had a sister
Who looked just fine

2. Hey, teacher
Leave them kids alone

3. You see dimensions in two
State your case with black or white
But when one little cross
Leads to shots, grit your teeth

4. He walks on, doesn't look back
He pretends he can't hear her
Starts to whistle
As he crosses the street
Seems embarrassed to be there

5. We are the children
The last generation
We are the ones they left behind

6. I will drive past your house
And if the lights are all down
I'll see who's around

7. Ain`t no sound but
The sound of his feet
Machine guns ready to go

8. You let me down and
Now your hand is out
Well, here`s some spare
Change you can count

9. Whoa, I'm not braggin' on myself, baby
But I'm the one who loves you
And there's no one else
No one else

10. If you think I'll sit around as the world goes by
You're thinking like a fool cause it's a case of do or die
Out there is a fortune waiting to be had
If you think I'll let it go, you're mad

11. At the office
Where the papers grow
She takes a break
Drinks another coffee
And she finds it
Hard to stay awake

12. City streets and lonely highways
I travel down
My car is empty and the radio
Just seems to bring me down

Kroxquo Bonus: Name another song with artist that contains the magic word of the day in the title.

Image Bonus: If you know the word, show me a fitting image!

Another Park, Another Sunday - Doobie Brothers

Image Bonus: If you know the word, show me a fitting image!

Even though mrkelley also touched on the same reference, I'm giving the IBB to Krox for Yoda. His was more subtle, and I got the reference immediately (He's lucky I know the original trilogy). A perfect IBB for five points...

JJC Points:

frank gets a JJC point for his obsession with Speedo Man (Phyllis will get jealous)...

Krox gets 3 JJC points, even though there was another...

Weasel gets 2 JJC points for polar bear problems...

Sprots gets a JJC point for referencing Coyote Ugly...

TBone gets 2 JJC points for ESP. I was actually thinking of making the word of the day "More" before switching to "another" in which case I expected several IB's of Oliver Twist... and he uses him for the "another" game anyway!

Vandal gets 2 JJC points for finally making me look up where that phrase came from (No, I haven't seen the movie before, sue me...)

melly gets 3 JJC points for Snuggle Bear's life after too much booze and easy unicorns...

mrk gets 2 JJC points for channeling mini's vagueness, and for kinda copying off Krox's paper...

Bob gets a JJC point for a completely invalid blanket answer...

Esto gets 2 JJC points for corrupting youth...

Anon gets 2 JJC points for Kroxing horrible earworms from mid 90's afternoons in the student lounge...

Points:

frank 23+1
Panic 22
ear 11
Krox 19+3+5
Weasel 21+2
Sprots 19+1
TBone 27+2
Vandal 18+2
melly 23+3
mrk 29+2
Hottie 14
Bob 4+1

Nope, no Wings on this one. Paul hadn't formed them at this point. And as long as I'm being nitpicky, there's no "Just" in the title.

Sorry. I feel like it's a sacred duty to nitpick when it comes to the Fabs. Hardcore Beatles fans can be insufferable, I admit.

It's a good thing I didn't use this in the "Just" game then....

I don't often spend a lot of time on the IBB, but this time I spent at least five minutes going back and forth between an unadorned Yoda and the one I posted. My reasoning was kind of the inverse of yours -- I thought you might not be a fan, and I didn't want you to have to go hunting through memes trying to find the reference.

I know it's getting harder to come up with new ideas for the game, but the psychological value of seeing what images people choose more than makes up for it.

I agree with you on both counts. Had Vandal posted the Animal House graphic without the key phrase in there, it would have gone right over my head. You just never know how it's going to work with me... but that helps keep the IBB fun and fair (I like to spread the love as much as possible there). I really wish I had come up with the Image Bonus during the glory days of the LSWE. It's my favorite part of grading the answers...
