I don't have to wear a boot!

I have a sore place on my leg that has not improved much in seven weeks. I finally had doc look at it today, with X-ray, and she said it's not a stress fracture. She is calling it tendonitis, which spellcheck is flagging for some reason. Tendon is spelled t-e-n-d-o-n and then I added -itis, so whatever.

Anyway, dude at the running store sold me a roller and showed me how to use it. The rest is ibuprofen and continuing to wear the ankle support, and knowing that there is not a crack in the bone!

I think they want you to spell it tendinitis. I don't understand it either.

However you spell it, it's a sonofagun. I had to wear a brace on my wrist for a while just to type. Actually I was glad I didn't have carpal tunnel syndrome, which is much harder to treat.

I'm glad it's no boot for you!
