It's a closed set with an invited audience per Randy West.
isn't it simply the first player to win three regular-length games? That would mean 7 games at most?silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 4:14 amFrom the way I heard the rules described, it could take anywhere between 6 and 14 regular-length episodes to determine a winner. I would assume that they would probably split that into two days of taping unless someone ran the table.
I thought that each "game" was a two-episode, most-total-money contest, like tournament finals. Except that the two episodes would run back to back in a one-hour time slot.triviawayne wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 6:30 amisn't it simply the first player to win three regular-length games? The player with the most combined winnings from the two games wins the “match,” and the play continues on successive nights (except Monday) until one of them has won three matches and takes home a $1 million prize. (The other finishers get $250,000 apiece). That means the tournament can last anywhere from three to seven days.
