National Train Day/Amtrak

Today I checked out the reason for my current avatar and signature, one of Amtrak's "National Train Day" promotions. There was a game show connection, Wheel of Fortune advertised it last Monday and one of Amtrak's trainsets in the Chicago-Milwaukee area was painted for the showing on "Wheel." Jeopardy also had a clue about the event.
The NYC event was mostly advertising, prize drawings, and kids activities. So some of it was interesting though not a lot for me. Hopefully some of this stuff got others, especially youngsters, into train travel.
