That is a tough loss (the Series) given the expectations going into the playoffs. After seeing how the Nats handled the Dodgers and Cardinals, I'm not surprised how well they did against the Astros. Just disappointed.

The Nats outplayed the Astros, got the hits when they needed them, and the outs when they needed them.

All in all, it was a great season for the Astros and their fans.

I don't have time to look this up: Is this the first Series in which every game was won by the visiting team?

Checking back later. Thanks to whoever confirms the answer.

Yes. It was the first time in MLB, NHL or NBA.

Yes. It was, in fact, the first World Series where the visiting team won each of the first 6 games. --Bob

The first time a seven game series had each game won by the road team. The 2012 NLDS between the Reds and Giants had all five games won by the road team...

I think the 1986 Series was the first World Series where the road team won the first four games. Is this the first Series where the road team won the first five? --Bob
