I Think It Is Fair to Point Out

That regardless of the people here hoping for a recession and a stock market crash=the stock market has roughly come back to its mid-summer highs after its August drop..
Using my dad's my dad's main IRA account as an example-In mid July or whenever-it was in the $123,000 range-in the down drop it went to about $113,000 or even a little less.
Now it is back to the $122,000 range.
This was brought home yesterday as I helped Dad take his required minimum distribution from a different account. That mutual fund had also recovered to its mid-summer highs.
I am glad we didn't take the minimum distribution a month ago.
