Tribute to our favorite Weather Channel guy...

#1 Post by AlphaDummy » Tue Sep 03, 2019 2:28 pm

Saw this in a post to an EFB group and asked the writer if I could cross-post. He told me to go for it as long as I gave proper attribution. So, with thanks to Loren Davidson:

******************

Thought you all might appreciate this, as here in southwest FL we're breathing a sigh of relief as Dorian slowly moves away.

(To the tune of "That's Amore," of course)

When the waves froth and chop and barometers drop

There's Cantore

When the storm surge arrives and comes up past your thighs

There's Cantore

Time to stock up on bread and supplies for the head

There's Cantore

Take a look at the sky; kiss your pool cage goodbye

There's Cantore
"Again" - Herb Brooks (as played by Kurt Russell)

Heard on a local radio show that the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's office posted a "no trespassing" warning to Jim.
Everyone know whats in store when Jim Cantore shows up. So we issued a little notice. lol

..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
