This video, confirmed by Mississippi election officials, should scare the bejeezus out of anyone using an electronic voting machine.
And so should these really weird results from Georgia voting machines last November. Electronic ballots show an extremely high drop-off in the number of votes cast for lieutenant governor as compared to the number of votes cast for governor. Other races further down the ballot didn't show such a high drop-off. And much more worrisome, that drop-off (which wasn't present on paper ballots) was higher in precincts with large numbers of African American voters.

To probably everyone's shock, I agree 100% with you that paper ballots are the way to go. I have never voted any other way.
Although, it is odd that Democrats have a marked tendency to find random boxes of ballots lying around in odd places on an as needed basis in close elections.
It never seems to work the other way.

Not never. For years, when this area received only Albuquerque television stations, I watched Republicans and Democrats lose and then find ballot boxes in New Mexico. I thought it was funny back then. Now, not at all.Spock wrote:To probably everyone's shock, I agree 100% with you that paper ballots are the way to go. I have never voted any other way.
