.

$20,000: A land of linked deserts, which of the following countries contains no permanent rivers or lakes?

A - 30%
B - 20%
C - 9%
D - 51%

That's what Andy's gut was telling him. He doesn't think 50:50 will help in this case, so he goes with the audience answer.

.

A - guinea pigs
B - goldfish
C - fruit flies
D - turtles

Andy whistles twice. He calls for his +1, Scott. Scott has a few thoughts.
Spoiler
Why would any of these be used? Fruit flies are used in studies of DNA so maybe they wanted to do studies on the effects of radiation. Andy says that was one of his choices. Scott thinks turtles is wrong, but Andy says that at this level the answer is counterintuitive. Scott thinks guinea pigs are too obvious and cliché. Goldfish is too weird unless it's the right answer - why would that be used as a choice otherwise?
. Andy decides to use the 50:50
Spoiler
"50:50 results": B & C

Scott is still leaning more toward
Spoiler
goldfish
. Andy agrees and makes that his final answer.
