Learnt a new word today

While watching Live PD on A&E, it's GREAT!, I read a WSJ article about how the Rockets have dispensed wi5h shootarounds. Author used the word "quants" and I said huh?
Quantitative analysts shortcut. I did not know.

First time I heard a word like that, someone said it was too "inside baseball" - I said it was not baseball and they said "not the point" - "inside baseball" is A Thing.

I learned that people are upset that the horse was DQd, but the rule is, you gotta stay in your lane. Just because you got away with it before does not mean you will in the big leagues.
Truly, I was just glad no one broke an ankle. Was not prepared to throw up in a trash can today. I had my first sleep-disturbed night with lockdown dreams, and have been struggling to stay awake all afternoon.
