He is very concerned with agreeing with most everything the administration says, which shows a lack of ability to think for yourself.

This made me giggle, though: the open carry of weapons was a right "granted not by government but by God." I'm not sure he understands rights the way I do - if you have a right to clean water, I have a duty to clean it. A right for one person equals a corresponding duty for another person. Rights are granted to us by each other.

He is on my side of the weed argument, though, saying we should change it out of Schedule 1 so we can at least do legitimate research on it.

I've seen him before, he's said some stupid shit, been on as a commentator, and saw him yesterday and reinforced my dislike. He's a blowhard and I could see metaphorically NOT really smacking him. I understand that the president has his faults, hah, but this guy is new and creepy.

I mean, if you happen to agree on some things, fine, but he seems to be kind of an obvious ass-kisser. Be your own guy, whoever that is.

And I would say that of someone who is kissing the ass of Warren or Sanders or whoever.

Be your own person. Let people decide if they want you for who you are.
