This story is sad but also very creepy. British standup comic Ian Cognito (real name Paul Barbieri), 60, died onstage during a standup routine. He said he felt ill, sat on a stool, and died. For a while, the audience thought it was part of the routine as he had been joking about having a stroke before he sat down.

This sounds eerily like how Dick Shawn died while onstage.
