another small plane crash in our area

A month ago I noted that a small plane had crashed near a commercial aviation airport that isn't far from Rivendell. Yesterday afternoon another plane crashed, this time on the opposite side of the airport just after taking off, and thus several miles from Rivendell. So far no word on what caused the crash; the pilot was injured but not seriously.

PS: I'm only flippant because the pilot's injuries aren't serious. Otherwise, not so much.

The plane crashed in my old neighborhood, a couple blocks from where my parents still live. I saw the video of the back yard where the plane came down and flipped over. There was absolutely no open area to make a landing. The yards are small and the houses are close together. The pilot was very fortunate to survive with only minor injuries.
