Dead or Alive? 2019 Guidelines
Posted: Wed Mar 20, 2019 5:32 am
Please follow these simple guidelines:
-- Dead or Alive? 2019 begins March 25 and runs for approximately four weeks, depending on source material.
-- Everyone is encouraged to play. Yes, even you. And you. And, well, okay, you too. It's the easiest Bored challenge ever posted.
-- Each event will typically be posted early (0700-0730) Eastern time on weekdays and remain open until the results are posted, usually the next morning. All Friday episodes remain open through the weekend. Please use a single spoiler (Spoiler=) for all answers.
-- Each event will contain a list of 10-15 persons who, believe it or not, are either dead or still alive. Please indicate the current status of each person with the word Dead (or D) or Alive (or A). The only exception to this will be the Dynamic Duos event in which an answer of Split or S (one is dead, the other is alive) is also acceptable. An answer of Yes means you are a complete dipshit.
-- Each event is typically a collection of people with similar first names or some other common theme. I will try my best to list folks most people have heard of, like actors, athletes and those from other "high profile" professions. There will be more men than women. Deal with it.
-- A correct answer is worth one point. No penalty for incorrect answers, so guess (WAG) away!
-- No outside sources allowed, this includes previous posts on the board. Don't cheat, it's not becoming.
-- Humorous posts and retorts are encouraged for the good of the Bored, but I don't give out humor points. I have a hard enough time just getting the regular scores somewhat correct!
-- Please check your scores and bring any scoring errors to my attention.
-- This Bored challenge is so easy to play. Have fun!
