A Blockbuster Video store in Perth, Australia, is closing this month, meaning that the Blockbuster store in Bend, OR (in the center of the state) will be the last remaining Blockbuster store in the world. The owners of the OR store have no intention of closing (why should they; they are famous).
And to think that Blockbuster turned down the chance to buy Netflix in 2000 for $50 million.
