McGovern flips

George McGovern publicly endorsed Clinton back in October.
Today:
Former Sen. George McGovern, an early supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton, urged her to drop out of the Democratic presidential race and endorsed her rival, Barack Obama.
After watching the returns from the North Carolina and Indiana primaries Tuesday night, McGovern said Wednesday it's virtually impossible for Clinton to win the nomination.
McGovern is not a superdelegate, but the floodgates are now open.

Rush said the other day that McGovern did this so someone could lose an election by a bigger margin than he did.

I think Limbaugh wants Clinton in so he can trash her with impunity.
If he starts trashing Obama, he'll probably get a backlash. Leno said he liked McCain because he could make fun of him without worrying about grief from women and minorities.

Not the first time ol George has flipped. in 72 he threw out the Daley delegation from the National Convention, and then he tries to kiss and makeup with the Boss after getting the nomination.

It's not possible to support somebody 1000%.

It's not possible to support somebody 1000%.
You are perhaps too young to remember, but McGovern has a history of supporting people 1000% in a presidential campaign (as in his choice for Vice President, in 1972). In retrospect, though, he proved that, in fact, it was not possible to support someone 1000%.
