updating

Busy couple of days. He is not returning to his school, so we have been looking for other options, with some help from the school board as well. Tomorrow we will meet with an attorney and find out what's what.

He has been holding so much in for the past couple of months, that now his body is rebelling and he has a viscious cold and sore throat. He says he is not nervous or stressed....his body says otherwise.

I sleep about 4 hours at a time. I try to lay down for a while in the afternoon too, so I don't get run down myself. Sometimes my mind and body seem to be moving in slow motion. Freaky!

Nice that the school board is being of assistance.

Maybe the cold and sore throat will purge some of the bad feeling.

Good luck.

In our school district, if a student can't go to their regular school, the District generally pays for the alternative school. Does it work the same way in Canada?

Best wishes, Saucy. If it's true that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger," we will watch for you on the Canadian Olympic weight-lifting team. You will look mah-velous.

Yes, they have an obligation to try to get him in somewhere, and most of our schools are public anyway.

If they are unable to place him, we will have to look at home schooling for the rest of the year, but that is not good for him. He needs the structure of a school.

We'll know more sometime on Thursday.

Hang in there, Sauce. Stay well and hope James shakes off the cold soon. Wellness helps in stressful situations.
