Each day during the 100 Million Dollar Season Celebration week, a clip of a favorite past contestant is shown. Today it’s hermillion’s $1M question.
Anne Moore
Retired pediatric radiologist
Mission Hills, Kans.
$20,000
According to History.com, in 1964 America’s first courtroom verdict broadcast on national television showed what infamous person being found guilty of murder?
A: David “Son of Sam” Berkowitz B: Jack Ruby
C: Charles “Lucky” Luciano D: Sirhan Sirhan
Anne knows Sirhan killed Bobby Kennedy in 1968. She doesn’t think Ruby was “infamous.” Her cousin Liz says Berkowitz was in the ’70s.
50/50 leaves Ruby and Luciano.
Liz remembers that Bobby Kennedy was going after the mob in 1964. They play “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to pick an answer. Anne, representing Ruby, shoots “Scissors,” and Liz, representing Luciano, shoots “Rock.”
B: Jack Ruby
Anne wins $5,000.

Not a great way to resolve the question. Ruby not infamous?
